Attracting people from around the world, crossing borders and breaking barriers, the 13th Session of the THIMUN Youth Assembly strives to strengthen already established projects and generate new, original and powerful projects and campaigns.

TYA gives YOU the power to ACT on issues directly affecting you and other youth globally. Posted on 21 Sep 200813th Session of the THIMUN Youth Assembly Announced!
Are you between the ages of 16-25 and want your voice to be heard?

Do you want to work on projects that can make a difference in your local community, as well as the global community? Do you want to deliberate, learn, and understand some of the most pressing current issues? Do you want to work with and make great friends with youths from across the globe? Do you want to be an active stakeholder in OUR world?

If so, come and join us this January, and have the experience of a life-time. The thirteenth session of the THIMUN Youth Assembly will take place from the 25th to the 30th of January 2009 in The Hague, Netherlands. Don't miss this opportunity!

The THIMUN Youth Assembly is an ongoing programme of the THIMUN Youth Network, with hundreds of alumni world-wide. At TYA sessions, youths from around the world come together to devise and work on projects and campaigns in a culturally rich and diverse atmosphere.

This initiative gives participants the chance to work toward enhancing, promoting and sustaining the "Global Commons." Participants will be collectively working to help rectify problems that our planet faces.

TYA is founded upon the principle of giving young individuals a voice, while facilitating ways to implement global youth awareness campaigns, and design and implement individual community-specific projects. Also, TYA participants may have the chance to apply to TYN delegations to international conferences like real UN Commissions.

TYA believes that young people are an important stakeholder in world affairs, and that we have a passionate and unique aptitude to create successful and sustainable projects for positive change. Come join us in January to be a part of this change.
